The Dog Days of Summer

I haven't been blogging much lately because there isn't much worth blogging about. Which is not to say that I’ve been doing nothing. Just nothing blog-worthy.

A bit of dog sitting for Xena Warrior Princess while my son is doing field work.

A bit of wedding planning. My daughter and her fiancé are getting married in three months and there is still lots to do. I’m trying to walk that fine line of trying to be helpful without being too pushy.

I pulled up the kitchen floor after a leak in the refrigerator ruined the laminate flooring. Hubby was recovering from surgery so I was the one wielding the pry bar while he supervised.

And my front yard looks like an overgrown jungle and I have to decide what to do about it.

Of course I’m knitting every day. I’ve made a bunch of those little Christmas stockings. By now I could probably knit one in my sleep. Except for grafting the toe. I still have to look that up every time. When I can do kitchener stitch in my sleep I will know it’s time to work on something else for a while.
