A few weeks ago I wrote in my blog “When I can do Kitchener stitch in my sleep I’ll know it’s time to work on something else,” or something to that effect. I’m not sure if I can actually knit in my sleep, but I don't have to look up the instructions anymore. Close enough. Time for a break.
Every year our wonderful Knitting Posse collects items we’ve made and brings them to the local women’s shelter.
So I’ve gathered all my lonely single skeins and pulled out some old reliable patterns. I’ll knit up some hats, cowls and maybe some fingerless gloves. I’ve already finished this slouchy hat.
Taking time out for yourself is good. Taking time out for others is even better.
